Wolves Women celebrated at End of season event

Wolves Women were delighted to celebrate their first year of attendance at the End of Season Dinner Awards and took the opportunity to revel in the success of Wolves Girls & Women's achievements this season.

Not only was in an opportunity to celebrate the success of the Club but to award the individual nominated as Wolves Women Player of the Season, Natalie Widdal, who has really has set the standard for the rest of the team and fully deserved the accolade.

Wolves Women First team manager Steve Cullis said -

"Myself and Natalie feel honoured to be a part of such a special event, as a Club we have worked exceptionally hard to promote female football and Natalie is fantastic example of that.

Natalie has been with Wolves since she was 10 years old and is a home grown player that has now set the example to all of our younger players and is a fantastic role model".

The event saw Wolves Women thrust into the lime light and will now hopefully give them platform to build on for many years to come.

Wolves Community Trust has recently been awarded a Regional Talent Club License which will help develop female footballers across Wolverhampton.

If you believe you can be the next Natalie Widdal please contact Andy Butler about the forthcoming Wolves Regional Talent Club Trials. andybutler@wolvescommunitrytrust.org.uk
