Wolfie Supports BUDS & Little Princess Trust

Volunteers and staff at BUDS are snipping their tresses for BUDS (Better Understanding of Dementia in Sandwell) Charity at BUDS Brook Street Club Tipton DY4 9DD at 1pm with Wolfie cheering them on.

All proceeds raised will contribute towards a new minibus to take clients to and from our BUDS Clubs in Sandwell.

The hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

The BUDS Club at Brook Street Tipton has been part funded by Wolves Aid for the last 3 years.

BUDS is a unique charity in the West Midlands that supports people in Sandwell through their dementia journey, aiming to improve the quality of life. It offers a range of services including local clubs that provide opportunities for people with dementia to socialise, receive support and take part in a variety of activities. This includes weekly visits to people with dementia in their homes, providing companionship and offering family carers short breaks and one to one and group support for family carers and friends of people with dementia. The charity gives initial support and signposting for people with dementia and their families in their own homes and professional training for those who work with people with dementia, including care home staff and other health professionals and volunteering opportunities.
