Young people from The Way Youth Zone part of the Wolves Ball Crew

The Way Youth Zone and Wolves Community Trust have been working closely in partnership since January 2016, with Wolves Community Trust delivering regular Football training sessions at the Youth Zone and managing the regions Football development plan.

The Wolves match day ball crew is selected from the Wolves Community Trust's Premier League Kicks project, where young people who regularly attend the free Football sessions in Whitmore Reans and Bilston, are given the fantastic opportunity to be part of the Wolves ball crew for home games and allows the coaches to reward young people for their commitment to the Trust's football sessions.

The young people have been part of ball crew this season so far at games against Burton Albion and Barnsley, with all young people delivering to a very high standard.

Sam Flatley, Inclusion Officer and responsible for ball crew selection and management at Wolves home match days said

"The young people selected from The Way Youth Zone have fitted in very well and have shown great professionalism since taking on the role as ball boy, as well as showing great commitment to this very important role for the club."

The young people will continue to be given further opportunities to be part of the Wolves match day ball crew and other young people who regularly attend the Wolves Community Trust's football session delivery at The Way Youth Zone will also be offered this unique opportunity.
