Molineux Memories

The weekly session of Molineux Memories continued on Thursday 26th November, run in partnership with the Black Country NHS team from Blakenhall Resource Centre.

Split into 10 week blocks, the session is set up for individuals with dementia and enables them to socialise with people of similar interests.

This week, attendees were treated to both a stadium and museum tour, along with fantastic photo opportunities along the way. After being educated on the Molineux's history and pitch, they were guided through into the players changing rooms where they were told some interesting facts and shared anecdotes about the teams' history.

Following in the steps of the professional players, the group were shown the press area and led through the tunnel, being given photo opportunities in both areas.

The museum tour also proved to be a hit for the Molineux Memories group, being shown a variety of Wolverhampton Wanderers' former football kits, trophies, as well as getting involved in interactive games to test their football skills!

Molineux Memories is held at the Molineux Stadium on Thursday afternoons. For more information contact / 01902 687038 or
