Ivan Cavaleiro - WCT Player of the Year

Every season Wolves Community Trust, in partnership with the Professional Footballers Association, selects a Player of the Year to recognise the players involvement with community based visits. This year we are proud to name Ivan Cavaleiro as Wolves' PFA Player in the Community.

Throughout the 2017/18 season, Ivan has been consistent in giving his time to visit our Soccer Schools, engaging with the young players and encouraging them to continue with the sport.

The talented midfielder who joined Wolves in 2016 has also supported the launch of our disability engagement project, Sporting Chances, and Walking Football, where he participated in a demonstration match.

April 2018 was bowel cancer awareness month and Ivan was happy to join other professional football players, managers and personalities in being part of the eighth annual 'Know the Score' national campaign to inform and educate on bowel cancer signs and symptoms.

Congratulations and thank you to Ivan Cavaleiro, our Player in the Community award winner for the 2017/18 season!
