- Walking Footballers take to the pitch
Black Country in Motion is a Sport England funded project which aims to get people across the Black Country into some form of physical activity. These areas include Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley and Sandwell, with 2 specific zones in each area. The sessions we run are fun, informal, engaging and take place in local community venues. Our sessions are delivered by local volunteers who we fund through coaching qualifications, first aid qualifications and DBS checks.
- Premier League Kicks Regional Tournament 2016
During the recent October Half Term, the Wolves Premier League Kicks Project hosted a regional Kicks tournament at Wolverhampton College. The tournament was contested between teams from Wolves Kicks, West Brom Foundation, Aston Villa and The Way Youth Zone, with young people selected aged 16 - 18.
- The Way - Under 18's Tournament
On Saturday 5th November, The Way Youth Zone kindly hosted a Wolves team and two teams from Leicester City - all teams selected from each clubs Premier League Kicks project. In addition, a team from The Way Youth Zone was selected to compete against both Wolves and Leicester.
- Christmas Soccer School 2016
After a very successful October Half Term Soccer School programme in which we saw over 300 participants across three venues, please read for more information below about our Christmas Soccer School dates and opportunities. We had Dominic Iorfa and Kortney Hause as special guests at our soccer school in October Half Term, the participants had a great time in their company and joined in a skill session with the players.

- October Half Term Soccer Schools
After a very successful Summer Soccer School programme in which we saw over 1572 participants across three venues, we look forward to seeing you at our October Half Term Soccer School dates. We took inspiration from the successful Summer of activity this year and had Olympic themed sessions across the soccer schools.
- The Way Youth Zone take on Wolves, West Brom and Villa in Wolves Premier League Kicks Tournament
Young people from The Way Youth Zone recently competed in the Wolves Premier League Kicks Tournament against rivals West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa Football Club and Wolves Kicks Premier League youth team. The young people, aged between 11-13 years old, took part in their first competitive football tournament on Tuesday 23rd August at the Wolves Community Trust Dome in Aldersley.

The Way Youth Zone and Wolves Community Trust have been working closely in partnership since January 2016, with Wolves Community Trust delivering regular Football training sessions at the Youth Zone and managing the regions Football development plan.
- Premier League School Sport
The end of the academic year in July brought a close three years of our Premier League School Sport project. Across the delivery period we have seen our outputs in Primary Schools increase by 500%, with over 50 lessons of Physical Education being taught weekly in 20 of the city's schools, alongside an extra-curricular and enrichment offer delivering a further 60+ sessions each week.
