Community Football Coaching and Development

Wolves Community Trust offers a two year Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development. In partnership with the University of South Wales and English Football League Trust this unique opportunity allows students to study at Molineux and take part in a bespoke work based learning programme with Wolves Community Trust.
You will be enrolled as a student at the University of South Wales and will have access to all learning materials including lectures, practical sessions and interactive workshops. Alongside the academic element of the course, students will complete up to 200 hours of work based learning with Wolves Community Trust, this allows the students to embed and develop the coaching knowledge gathered and apply it within programme delivery.
The Foundation Degree enables students the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical coaching experience that supports students in developing the skills and qualities necessary to work within the sports industry.

To be eligible for the course the following qualification are required;
- PPP at BTEC Extended Diploma Level 3 / MM at BTEC Subsidiary Diploma Level 3 / DD to include at least one A Level in Science, Mathematics, Physical Education or Psychology but to exclude General Studies
- FA Level 1 Award in Football or equivalent
- Three GCSEs at grade C or above including Mathematics and English Language are also required for enrolment.
- Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS)
All fees are per year, once you have started your course then your fees will remain the same for each year of study.
Aug 2017 - July 2018 Fees
Full-time UK and EU: TBC or Full-time International: TBC
There is the option to study a top up year in BSc (Hons) Football Coaching, Development and Administration which allows students to complete the third and final year of the degree.
Graduates of the degree can pursue careers in a variety of areas including sports performance, sports and football development, school sport and coach education.
